Dealing with Unexpected Change – This post comes from one of my regular blog reads and is rather timely; unexpected change has been something constant with me in the past year. Change in jobs, how seriously I take work now, a new house, my ability to regulate anxiety and worry, and even in my relationships as I grow older and allegedly wiser have all been a factor in what has been quite a year in 2012. I’m currently putting my thoughts together for a rather lengthy dive into anxiety, and I may be trumpeting something that may not be very well-written or explanatory, but I have to just get it out into the abyss.
To leave you with some food for thought from probably one of my top fave movies, I’m totally “in it right now”:
Sam: You’re in it right now, aren’t you?
Andrew Largeman: What?
Sam: My mom always says that, when she can see I’m like working something out in my head, she’s like, ‘you’re in it right now’ and I’m looking at you’re telling this story, and you’re definitely in it.
It’s time to get honest up in here. Soon.
